Blue Flame Wellness created a Tiered Usage Fee system to make supporting clinicians more affordable, accessible, fair, transparent, and scalable—especially when clinicians have such different caseloads, needs and concerns.

Some clinicians only work mornings, some want to build up over time, others work full-time and need full admin support. For new or returning clinicians, this system allows you to build your caseload without carrying full practice costs while you are still filling your books. With empty appointment slots and uncertain referrals, financial risk can be lowered by not paying for excessive overheads.
We’ve structured our practice so clinicians can choose how much space and support they need and our fees reflect that — you don’t need to be overpaying or under-supported at any stage.

1. Categories of Support

To simplify the process, Blue Flame Wellness created categories of services we can provide. These categories filter through into the different Usage Fee Tiers you can choose from.
A. Times / Blocks
​
It is important to know that Blue Flame Wellness offers our support services in blocks or full days.
Definition of a “Block”
“A block is defined as a morning or afternoon period allowing up to five (5) client sessions, inclusive of reasonable transition time and administrative support.”

Half Day: Morning 7am - 1:30pm

Half Day: Afternoon 2pm - late

Full Day: 7am till late

Telehealth Tier: Blocks of time do not apply as this is not attended in the practice
B. Our Physical Space
​

Therapy room - Rooms are fully furnished, decorated, air conditioned and cleaned regularly. Therapy Room bookings are based on quality and demand. Room Allocation is thoughtfully considered, practical and fair. Blocks are exclusive to level of clinician usage, time allocation / availability. Blocks are not based on room ‘ownership’.

C. Our Administrative & Reception Support
​
Research has shown that a clinician averaging 20 clients per week can experience the administrative impact of 4-6 hours for clinical documentation (notes / reports) 6-8 hours per week of administrative and reception work. This is dependent on the level or quality of administration completed by the clinician.
With our Admin and Reception support, we minimize the impact of administrative demands allowing the clinician to increase clinical hours (and income) if they would like to. This approach can offset the cost of administrative support and decrease administrative fatigue or burnout of a clinician.
We offer two levels of administration that are detailed under each tier.

2. Tiers and Pricing
​
Usage fees are structured to reflect actual use of practice resources, including room occupancy, reception support, and administrative infrastructure. Clinicians may select a tier aligned with their clinical load, with optional add-ons available.”

Q1: “What if I don’t fill all my sessions?”
A: Your usage fee reflects the block you book, not your caseload. Start smaller and grow your block as your client numbers increase.

Q2: “Why pay 15-37%? That seems high.”
A: Depending on what you choose, fees cover room use, utilities, cleaning, admin/reception, and claims processing. Most clinicians regain 6–8 hours/week in billable time, offsetting the cost.

Q3: “Can I change my block if my schedule changes?”
A: Yes! Blocks are flexible and reviewed regularly. If a room is available, you can move between morning, afternoon, or full-day access.

Q4: “Do I get a dedicated room?”
A: Blue Flame Wellness promotes consistency in room allocation so as to promote and support client care. It is rare to change a room and only within reason.

Q5: “What if I only want to start part-time?”
A: Our tiered model allows you to start with just one block (AM or PM) and scale up as your caseload grows — no upfront full-time commitment.

Q6: “How do I know I’m not overpaying?”
A: All fees are transparent. You can see what is included for each tier. Optional add-ons are clearly listed, so you only pay for what you use.
