TELEHEALTH

We recognise that the Year 2020 has brought on many new challenges and opportunities. In response to this, the Australian government introduced legislation / regulation for easier access to health professionals including psychologists. This has allowed our team to be able to provide counselling and support telephonically. Please contact us for further information about the Telehealth system or if you have any questions. If you would prefer to book a Telehealth appointment please make a note in your appointment booking.

REQUIRED PAPERWORK TO BRING TO YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT

When making an appointment at Blue Flame Wellness please note the following:

1) You will receive confirmation of your booking via email. A link to your intake form will be included, we ask that you take the time to fill it out and read the contractual agreement carefully. This saves us time and allows us to be fully prepared for your session.

2) If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, please bring this with you, as well as your medicare card.

3) MEDICATION

Are you taking medication?

If you are taking any tablets, medications, supplements or other medication please ensure you bring all this information with you (even if the medication is not related to your mental health) and any history of medication.  Knowing what medications you are taking will help practitioners to work out what other factors might be contributing to your symptoms and whether they need to refer you to other specialists to help them support you better.  We will also need to rule these out before we proceed with setting out a treatment plan, and or if perhaps you need to be referred to your GP to or increase your medication.
